Is Music Mad the right fit for you?

At Music Mad, we are all about helping students build confidence, enjoy music, and actually look forward to their lessons each week.

We believe music should feel exciting, creative, and something students can be proud of, not something that feels like a chore.

Our lessons are designed to help students find their voice, express themselves, and grow in confidence, whether they are just starting out or already love performing.

We offer both 1:1 lessons and group classes, so students can choose what suits them best. Some prefer the focus of 1:1, while others thrive in the energy of a group setting.

All of our teachers hold honours degrees in Music, bringing a high standard of teaching along with real experience in performance and education. Every lesson is supportive, encouraging, and tailored to the individual, while still keeping things fun and engaging.

We explore a mix of popular music, musical theatre, and traditional styles, helping students develop a well rounded understanding of music while building their own style and confidence.

There is a strong focus on performance, creativity, and confidence building, so students are not just learning songs, they are developing as musicians and performers.

✨ A positive, welcoming environment
✨ A place to build confidence week by week
✨ A space where students can grow, create, and enjoy music

All teachers are Garda Vetted and follow Tusla Children First guidelines, ensuring a safe and professional environment for all students.

If you are looking for a place where music feels fun, encouraging, and something to look forward to, Music Mad could be the perfect fit.

Am I the right Vocal Coach for you?

Hi, I’m Caoimhe O’Brien, founder of Music Mad and a vocal coach with a real passion for helping people build confidence through music.

I completed my BA (Hons) in Music and Economics at University College Cork in 2022, and continued on to study Musicology and Cultural Studies at postgraduate level in 2023.

Alongside my degree, I completed graded exams in classical vocal, pop and rock vocals, and classical piano, which gave me a strong, well rounded foundation across different styles of music.

During my time at UCC, I became really interested in the power of music, not just in performance, but in how it can help people grow in confidence, express themselves, and feel part of something.

I am Garda Vetted and hold a Tusla Children First Certificate, so creating a safe, supportive environment for students is always a priority.

At Music Mad, my focus is on making lessons feel encouraging, relaxed, and enjoyable. Every student is different, and I take the time to understand how each person learns, helping them develop their voice at their own pace while building confidence week by week.

If you’re someone who wants to feel more confident, enjoy singing, and be supported in a positive, friendly environment, then I could be the right teacher for you.

Whether you are just starting out, a bit nervous, or looking to take your singing further, my aim is to make sure you feel comfortable, supported, and actually enjoy the process.
